She sang The Star-Spangled Banner for a Philadelphia 76ers game. Swift wrote original songs which was influenced by country musicians such as Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) and Dixie Chicks. Her material reflected Swift's experiences with tweens alienation. In the year 13 Swift's parents decided to sell their farm in Pennsylvania in order to relocate to Hendersonville Tennessee so she could spend more time to wooing labels from the country in nearby Nashville.
